TENNIS whites were swapped for kilts when stars of the court converged on Edinburgh at the weekend.
John McEnroe and Goran Ivanisevic were among the star players who were in the capital for the Brodies Champions of Tennis event.
And the guys were kitted out for the official tournament party, at the Sheraton Hotel, by Edinburgh’s 21st Century Kilts and Geoffrey Taylor.
McEnroe said: "This was my first and probably my last time in a kilt but the guys had a lot of fun.”
But Goran Ivanisevic seemed a bit keener, saying: "This was my first time in a kilt but hopefully not the last. It was a great experience and a lot of fun. Now I know how women feel wearing a skirt.”
Even Tim Henman got into the spirit and said: "It’s great to get all the guys into the spirit of being in Scotland and I think it’s a great idea to get us all wearing proper Scottish attire.”
Howie Nicholsby of 21 Century Kilts, who has dressed singer Robbie Williams and filmstar Vin Deisel in the past, said: "They were all an absolute pleasure to deal with and John McEnroe is a legend.”
