A 21st Century Kilt has much the same fit as jeans and should be worn lower than a traditional kilt. The waist measurement should be the measurement around your hips, and the length should be from the hip bone to above the knee - and not more than a third of your total height. Pockets What are pockets?

Pockets add an additional distinctive finish to your kilt. Pioneered by Howie they are a great, casual alternative to a sporran for carrying your everyday essentials!

Pockets attach to buttons we add to your kilt, so they can be easily removed, making them a versatile addition.

Sock Size
This is the perfect lightweight summer kilt. The Linen mix fabric will soften with wear enhancing the kilt with age. This is popular for summer weddings and other formal occasions. 
This kilt is dry clean only. Please note, we'd also not recommend drinking dark liquids (such as red wine) around the kilt, they have a tendency to stain if spilt. Stick to soda water. 

Your Linen Kilt will usually be delivered in 1-2 weeks.


All our items are dispatched via courier as soon as they're finished to the standard you expect from 21st Century Kilts. 


Returns can be made within two weeks of receiving your Ready to Wear kilt or accessories, please let us know that you're returning it and we'll be happy to refund or exchange it for you. 

All our kilts are true to size and adjustable via the belt buckles so that they're likely to fit you really well.
